I was dating a girl a couple of months ago. She was the most similar to me in every way. Why did she need to break up with me. She even told me I was perfect for her. Like what the hell?? I keep thinking she still likes me but I doubt it. She probably likes someone else for all I know. Now I'm just trying to find someone like her.

People who I see LOOKING for a mate, always come off as desperate and rarely seem to find one. People who simply get on with life generally from what I see have a better "Success" rate, and generally seem happier overall. My advice is to stop looking, and simply make lots of friends. If you are generally a nice person, there is a strong chance you will encounter a women (or man) who you have feelings for, and happens to share them. When it grows naturally it always seems healthier to me.

The other thing about this is you're a lot more likely to find a long-term mate this way. When you have your actual personalities in common instead of the mutual desperation for a mate, then you have a lot more reason to stay together.

Echoing both of these. Having similar interests and personalities is paramount. My current relationship grew out naturally from a friendship in this way and there has never been anything like it for me. Play the long game, don't go for the short-term "gotta find somebody" strategy.
