I wanna go there and get my first archery set!
Though my dad is convinced we can just give him this long bow without a string we have and fix it up, but aren't longbows more for hunting?
I only want to shoot inanimate targets.

Ah true but they are great bows in my opinion I have a 1960 recurred long bow meant for hunting deer and boar as my dads bow is just like mine (a little different and order) meant to shoot bears. Though I don't hunt... Not yet at least, anyways they are still great with inanimate objects.
Not to mention some hardcore hunters will use them for big games.
