Ray, satisfied with his plans, stepped out of the basement. "Gonna need a few extra paws, though. Hmm...can't get the Don's boys, he'd want a cut on top of what I owe him." He sat down on an old beaten futon, and sighed, his brow creased in thought.

Drago walked down the pavement towards the CBD with a smile on his face, he couldn't be more happier. He gave kind nods and warm smiles to passerby's.

Fluffy changed direction to head to the nightclub he's working at.

Zanthe unwrapped the bandages and looked at herself. The injury, thankfully, had not been that bad, and was looking better already. Sighing, the catfox applied new bandages to herself and decided to take some time to clean her weapons off. (Red, did you see my message? Also, if it's way too long, I can shorten it.)

Ray stepped out of his apartment in simple attire; black t-shirt, khaki cargo pants. He wandered about, looking for anyone willing to work with him.

Locking the door behind her, Zanthe stepped into the light, dressed in fairly casual clothes. She had disguised herself a little, her fur colored a light tan today, and she had made her eyes a chocolate brown color using fake contacts. As the catfox walked down the sidewalk, she touched the handgun tucked into her waistband beneath her long-sleeved button-down shirt. While she hoped that she wouldn't have to use it, it was better to be safe than sorry. The same went for the other weapons she had concealed on her person.

Zanthe gently sniffed the air and glanced around, getting the oddest feeling that someone might be nearby.

Ray spotted Zanthe, and smiled slightly as she adjusted the gun in her waistband. He then approached her, slowly. "Excuse me, miss?"

Hearing Ray's approach, Zanthe turned her head slightly to observe Ray. "... Hello," she said, her facial expression remaining somewhat neutral. "Did you need something?"

Ray smiled. "I'm looking for a particular set of paws for a particular line of work, and you fit the bill."

[Cifero Windtail]

Zanthe sized Ray up, body language and all, before looking into his eyes. He must've seen her touching her gun; he needed an extra hand, alright. "... Is there somewhere quiet we can talk?" she asked, hooking her thumbs in her pockets.

Ray nodded. "My place, if you want. We can also head to your place, if you wish to have the 'home field advantage'."

[Cifero Windtail]

Zanthe nodded slowly, glad that she had thought to acquire a fake safehouse just in case. "We can go to my place, I suppose," she said, thinking of her injuries from the previous night and taking into consideration Ray's height compared to hers. The catfox motioned for Ray to walk beside her. "Do you have a name?"

Ray nodded, and walked beside Zanthe. "Many. Though 'Ray' works just fine."

[Cifero Windtail]

The catfox looked over at Ray and extended a hand. "Zanthe," she said, giving away no sign of how she felt.
