[Farewell]

Zaida still sat outside rose's hospital room. A few doctors, nurses, visitors and sometimes patients passing by the Vexū.
The Sabard had fallen asleep fast on the old couch. His ears flicked from Zanthe and Valentine who walked in, the hybrid smelt the food being prepared as well.

[Cifero Windtail]

"I can imagine... you've had a rough couple of days," Zanthe replied, peeking into the back room. Seeing Devin, she flushed a little. "...Why don't you see how Kammy and Clover are doing, Valentine? They might need some help."

[Rayleonarde]

Valentine nodded, and walked off to find Kammy and Clover.

Zamthe nodded and slowly padded into Devin's room. (Goodnight, everyone!)

The Sabard continued to sleep on the couch, peacefully using one of the couch arms as a pillow. His arm hung off the edge almost touching the floor the other on his chest. His feet resting up the other arm. He slept like a Cub, Devin didn't have many opportunities to sleep like this. (Night.)

Zanthe took a seat in a chair opposite the couch and watched Devin sleep, not wanting to disturb him.

He didn't take naps often. So his body wasn't very use to it, nor did he want to sleep long. The Sabard opened his eyes a bit and gave a sigh through his nose. He raised his arms over his head stretching before he glanced over to see Zanthe.

Zanthe flushed a little and rubbed her arm. "... Hey there," she said, smiling gently.

Devin sat up giving a light grunt as he did "We're you watching me?" The Sabard said with a raised brow.

[Cifero Windtail]

The catfox looked to the side. "A bit," she said. "I was going to check on your injuries..."

[Farewell]

"Oh, isn't that's sweet of you." he stopped giving a big yawn and stretched again with a grunt before speaking "they seem to be fine, little pain but fine." Devin said with his eyes making it down to her abdomen "How's yours?..."

[Cifero Windtail]

Zanthe lifted her shirt a little and looked at herself. "... I think the upper one has healed," she said. "Maybe another day for the stab wound..." The catfox looked at Devin and smiled a bit. "I'll be honest... that was a very effective attack. It probably would've killed someone else."

His ears leaned back slightly "Yea.." He huffed his smile faded still staring at her abdomen. "I'm sure it would." Devin said not very proud. As that wasn't the first time using an attack like that... And it probably wasn't his last. ~I have to leave soon or I'll put all of them in danger~ he thought concerned.

Zanthe let her shirt drop and looked up at Devin, catching the worry on his face. "... Is something the matter?" she said. "I'm sorry if that's not something you wanted to hear..."

Devin huffed "I don't like hurting anthro's... I really don't" he said in a quiet voice, maybe even a whimper. He crossed his arms over his chest, the left breast having some symbol. It looked like a burnt scar... Like a cattle brand. A circle with three lines through it.
