I first got my ears pierced when I was a baby, so I don't remember it happening, but I continued wearing earrings once in a blue moon until I stopped entirely and let the holes close. I couldn't help but scratch my ears whenever I had them in, plus I didn't really see the point. I can't see them, and usually no one else could, so... eh. XD

Not really. I think religion is more than 'do this or do that, think this way' and more like those beliefs have an ultimate purpose.
