Looks good quality. Make sure it doesn't turn into a choker though. Unless that's what you are going for.

A lot of furries tend to wear collars for a variety of reasons. Of course, non-furries sometimes wear collars for their own reasons as well. It's a preference thing.

Maybe he just likes wearing one, same as any other neckwear.
