However, I would assume it is dominantly filled with Doctor Who fangirls as opposed to furries or anything of the sort.

I played a piano, which I'd only played for a year or so, for the first time in over a year. Surprisingly, I haven't gotten any worse, and my ability to associate keys with their corresponding notes may have actually improved. Looking forward to trying the same on a clarinet. Eight years on the thing might be a major determining factor though...
