he hears her, and comes back. there is a strained look on his face."no, if it is against your wishes, then i will at least stay to protect you." he walks away, and sits on a log, watching the surroundings intently.

"this is so weird." i walk over to the fire and sit down, working my paw with the flames.*

"Hmm...." She hums, getting up swiftly. Angela smiles crooked-like and runs off, scooping the cat up in her arms as she passes by.

The cat mews in surprise then settles down again, purring louder.

*i sigh and sit down, waiting for someone to notice anything pecular, or just waiting for someone to say something.*

She circles behind them then pops up next to Vixen. "Boo." She whispers, gently placing her hands on her shoulders.

He goes and sits down by Vixen. "I wanna get off of this place."

i wondered off into the forest,looking around curiously at the leaf-less trees making it seem like black ribbons of ink rippled across the creme-colored moon.A few minutes passed and i sat down on the ground and layed my paw beside meh until i felt a paper-like item in it.I picked it up and read it:

If you are reading this then you are on a stranded island out in the middle of nowhere.This is a warning stating that you or any other survivors from any sort of crash or
 Ãƒâ€šÃ‚                      something will have to face eachother in a fight to the death battle.The last survivor standing will recieve transportation to the nearest hospital and recieve medical                                                      attention.Then the survivor will be sent home to his/her family safely.

and under the letter,a blade sat.

Angela flattened her ears and turned, sensing something strange. She glanced up at the trees and snarled. Climbing nimbly, she ripped the paper off the thrunk and took the blade. She scuttled back down and read it aloud:

" 'Dear readers,
You've been selected for a battle to the death. The last survivor wil be sent home after receiving medical attention. Don't try leaving, there's no way out.' What the **** is it talking about?" She asked, tapping Vixen's shoulder worriedly.

He notices that the note he recently found had no signature and was written rather sloppily.

"Vixen, what's going on?" She looked worried, frowning as she thought hard about her fighting skills and her odds of beating all the strong furries around her. "Oh no..." She moaned, slumping to half sit, half lay in the sand behind the tree. Her eyes narrowed as she growled to herself. She knew she wasn't going to survive this one.
