How do I clean cat urine from upholstery foam?

 More information; It is not a head yet, it is around 3 inches thick and is about a 3 feet long, but the stain is around the size of an adult fist. The cat is male, so it really stinks! Anyone got any advice?

Well, if I remember correctly, what I usually do is put some hydrogen peroxide on it, let it soak outside. Though I may be wrong

I'll think about how much I could dilute it, and possibly repeat the process of putting some on and dabbing it off? I will experiment with a small piece and something else to stain it with to make sure nothing happens!

Well if it's upholstery foam, it should be  covered by something, so bleaching it might not matter too much, but be careful.

Foam is synthetic. My worry is that it actually eats the foam.

Try it on a little piece, then. Like, maybe tear off an unneeded corner or something, let it soak a little bit.

When we still had our old cat and she peed on the couches, my mom would use a diluted vinegar mixture and sprayed it on the bare cushions. It smelt a bit, but it worked. It got out both the smell and the stain.

I know people swear by this stuff called Nature's Miracle. Its enzyme-based and as far as I know, doesn't hurt anything synthetic. I mean, I could be wrong... but I have a relative who had 4 cats (3 of them were male) and everything at some point was marked. She would just spritz it with the Nature's Miracle, let it dry and it wouldn't stink anymore and I don't remember seeing any stains. She also has a little weenie dog that refused to be house broken... so... you can imagine how much of that stuff she went through. I think it's like $20 for a big bottle, not sure if they have smaller ones or not.

Personally, though, I haven't used it. And I agree with the other member about vinegar, too, it's an amazing cleaner. You can wash your clothes with it... but.. oh my gosh, it takes a while for that stank to get out. Bleh! Good luck!

Natures miracle works great on carpet and furniture, wont discolor (most) fabrics, it use to work great when my puppy had accidents in the house ( and sometimes on the furniture) so thats probably a safe bet but id still test it first to make sure it wont damage the foam or fabric just to be safe
