How can I tell if I need reading glasses?

I can read something if it's in front of me, but once it hits a certain distance/font size it starts to get fuzzy. I can't read things that are far away as they just blur almost into a blob.

that's not reading glasses you need normal glasses if it is in distances of a few feet. trust me you will be pleasantly surprised. do a eye exam first just in case.

Well I do need to get my eyes checked. It's been about two or three years since my last one anyway. I've always wanted glasses as I'm the only one in my immediate family who never needed them. I think I might look good with glasses.

Just go to the eye doctor if you're getting blurriness; glasses will fix that.
