Cassy closed her eyes and sighed. "Yeah," she said. "That's definitely what you saw." Propping herself up a little, the crat looked over at Setcho. "And you're right.... if we're going to stop the Spynx, then we can't keep secrets from each other."

Cassy sighed and closed her eyes. "Alright," the crat said, looking into Setcho's eyes again. "I am a type of magic user known as a physical adept. The light you saw is an aura I can generate around my hands; while it's active, I can move faster, hit harder, that kind of stuff. I'm not exactly a full adept yet... I'm being trained by another adept to use my abilities. At the current stage I'm at, I can only safely use the aura for ten minutes at a time. Any longer than that, I can get nosebleeds or a sore abdomen, like you saw yesterday." Cassy motioned to the area around her navel where she had been noticeably sore the other day. "Extremely prolonged use could give me internal bleeding. I used my aura a bit the other day to get in the car fast, but... Somehow, the Spynx managed to hit me while I was going at twice my normal speed."
