Cassy noticed her teacher with Zaida as she flew around. "Huh... I never knew that they were friends," she murmured to herself.

"Aw so soon~" she sighed. "Fine, I'll see you soon friend~" she pat his shoulder. "Like I said apologies, no hard feelings" she turned her tail swaying up and down as she went back to town humming. "Should greet my family.." She said meaning the towns people.

[Alistair]

Alistair huffed and marked up the trees with more claw marks to make his territory more obvious, storming off afterwards to find something in the forest to eat.

[The Past]

Geoff finally arrived in town property, worn out and ready to get some sleep. In the morning, he'll figure out what to do next. He sat down at the edge of the woods and opened his backpack, pulling out a snack food box which was folded and crushed down to fit inside.

"Running low," he muttered to himself.
He unfolded the box and stuck a hand inside. He frowned.

"Running out..."

He pulled out the single chocolate-peanut butter bar from the box and looked at it thoughtfully.
Maybe I should save it until I find more food...

Cassy found a nice sturdy tree branch to rest on, then landed and began to preen her wings. She was unknowingly in the tree near Geoff.

Zaida emerged from the woods and stretched thinking to herself deeply of what to do....

Geoff was spooked for a moment and looked up to see Cassy. He awkwardly waved to her.

Cassy registered the movement out of the corner of her eye, glancing down at Geoff. In return, she cheerfully waved back.

Geoff smiled and turned back to the snack, still debating whether or not to eat it.

Cassy cocked her head. "... You know, the apple trees are in season," she said, sitting on the branch like a normal cat would.

Geoff's ears perked. "Apple trees?"

Cassy nodded. "Yeah, there's a huge orchard not far from here. I could take you there, if you're feeling hungry."

Geoff grinned, grabbing his stuff, and stood up. "Please do. They're all free?"

"Well, there's a whole bunch of fruit trees, so it's okay if you take a few," Cassy said as she gently climbed down. "There's been a good harvest this year... " The crat started to walk towards the orchard. "So what's your name?"
