Kro relaxed a bit more, finally deciding it safe to let his guard down. He gently stroked the top of Vulki's head, making sure not to wake her. He sunk down, laying down next to her. He didn't want to hurt her though, so he was very wary of moving or making any large actions. Instead, he just laid there, somewhat smiling to himself.

Angder grins. "What do you have in mind?"

Grunan sighs. The snake could feel it clearly now. The reason for the weirdness in the area... Reality was thin. Really thin. He glances up at the sky. Wondering if others, less attuned, also felt it. They were probably used to the feeling. The heavens dropping low, and the underworld right underneath. More worrying was the edges of the plane. Describing these concepts is hard. But Grunan could feel... outside. It was faint, but there. He spots a crow watching the street. That was part of it. Morgath. But things were thin before then. The recent events just exasperated things...

Of course it would not break... but things would only get weirder here. That was a bad thing. "I am going to have to monitor this place." Grunan states. "Things are worse here than I suspected.

After much scrubbing, the kitchen started to look a little more like a less burned abode.


"There we go. It's not perfect, but it is livable." she says with a sigh. Going over to the pot she finally takes the lid off and the soft smell of beer-cheese-potato soup wafts through the complex, alluring scent floating around.

Soonafter, Kro fell asleep. He was restless, but it wasn't too bad. He kept on the far left side, and slept.

Cifero blushes gently, then followed Kye and Angder around the whole time. "... Um... excuse me, Kye?" he asked, scratching his side.




Cassy nodded. "I'll see you soon, Setcho," she said, smiling widely.




Clare grinned and nodded. "Non-alcoholic sounds good for now," she said, looking at that menu.

As he did he looked up at the sky and frowned slightly* Alka: This feeling... It's familiar. Why do I feel so close to the heavens...?

[The Past]

After calling for the appointment, Geoff strapped on his backpack and headed back to his safehouse. At least he already had Grunan's advice covered. The location Geoff said was inaccurate, so if the rumor does end up spreading, it will lead Morgath's cult in the wrong direction. He had set up some other plans as well to hopefully fool any spies that might be lurking. Sometimes it pays to overthink.

As he did he looked up at the sky and frowned slightly* Alka: This feeling... It's familiar. Why do I feel so close to the heavens...?

Clare chose a mock-tail that looked fairly good. It involved Dr. Pepper, along with some other juices. "Is that alright?" she asked, rubbing her arm. I can't believe I'm on a date...

*Alka looked back down at Clare* Alka: Oh, yeah sure. It's fine. *Alka raised a paw to hail a waiter*

Clare waited patiently, acting like a lady.

*A waiter, this time a female corgi, came with an iPad at the ready* Waiter: What can I get for you two?

*Alka pointed to the wine in his menu* Alka: One glass of the Venice Ferment please

*The waiter tapped away at the iPad* Waiter: One glass of the Venice ferment? Good choice. *She smiled at Alka before turning to Clare* And for you, miss?

"One Dr. Pepper mocktail, please," she said, smiling. "And a smaller glass as well, in case I decide to try some wine."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*The waiter made a few taps at her iPad again* Waiter: One... Dr. Pepper... Mocktail... And smaller cups. Got it. Tap water for the table?

Alka: Yes please

*The waiter input the order into the system and smiled at the two* Waiter: It'll be just a few minutes, thanks. *The waiter bowed and walked off to server someone else*

*Alka smiled at a Clare* Alka: It sure has been a while since I've had dinner with someone else.

Clare smiled back at Alka. "The service here is pretty great."
