The Fur Apartments: Revamped! <Closed> [PM application only]

*The demon fell back a bit and grunted before coming back up and swinging a wooden branch at Clare*

*The others slowly began converging on Clare*

*The spellcaster continued chanting, a sweet smelling smoke beginning to come from his paws*

*The leader was watching from the opposite end of the clearing, ready to step in when he deemed necessary*

Clare growled and continued to back off, sensing the leader was watching. "Sorry, I don't have time for this!" she said, pulling out miniature crossbow and firing a few bolts at the approaching demons as she ran.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*The spellcaster finally finished chanting and casted his spell. A ball of sweet smelling smoke dashed towards Clare*

*The leader began walking in the direction Clare was running* ???: You can run silly Nephilim... But all shall fall in the face of the dark lord...

*The demons all took the shots fired and stopped to pull the arrows out growling as they did, but more continued to chase. A demon lashed out from behind Clare with a similar branch*

Clare heard "the dark lord" and nearly stopped in her surprise, but kept running. Hearing the demon behind her swinging, she ducked just in time and kicked the demon in the crotch, then growled and slashed in an arc at the demons before running again, holding her breath.

*The smoke charged towards Clare, it's sweet smell almost addicting levels of good*

*The 2 demons blocked the slash and retaliated with a slash of their own. The demon behind Clare toppled over, grabbing its crotch in pain. The others from before were now charging towards Clare again*

*The demon leader continued walking in Clare's direction*

Clare blocked the slash and tried to run away. What do these jerks want from me?! she thought, trying to get back to the Apartments.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*The demons remained persistent, going as far as to throw some of the smaller ones at her*

*The smoke dashed past Clare leaving it's scent beside her. The ball of smoke reformed in her path slightly down the line. The scent itself smelt sweet and relaxing... Too relaxing. To the point in which it somewhat disorientated those who breathed it in*

*The leader began running, slightly worried his troops let the Wolf get away*

Clare parried away two smaller demons and tried to put on a rebreather, but as she did, she accidentally inhaled a little smoke. The wolf coughed a little and kept running, slashing at the demons and trying to find her way back to the Apartments... only now, she wasn't sure which way they were.

*The smoke ingulfed Clare head as she ran, replacing all breathable air and somewhat clouding her vision*


*The demons took their opportunity to spread out and attempt to surround Clare*


*As the leader ran, Clare slowly came into his sight*

Clare swatted at the air, really wishing that she had tried to knock the rabbit out. She breathed air in from the rebreather, which made things less disorienting, but she was still having problems seeing. The wolf tried to throw out her senses; while she couldn't sense the Apartments, she could sense the demons... and their leader.
Moving quickly, Clare dashed forward, just barely getting past two demons before the circle closed. Alka... she thought, wishing hard that he was here to help her somehow. If all else failed, she decided that she would destroy herself rather than let the demons get her. The wolf slashed around, using her other sense to locate the demons as she sped through the forest.

*The leader aimed a palm at the wolf and uttered a few words, before purple chains fly out and attempt to wrap themselves around Clare's leg as she runs*


*The smoke remains persistent in it's thickness and doesn't seem to move*


*The demons continue to do everything they can to stop Clare, throwing smaller ones at her, attempting to get around her, and now lobbing small rocks at her as they ran behind her*

Clare sensed the chains just a second before they reached her and quickly dodged them, taking the blows from the rocks as best as she could. Growling more, Claire quickly tried to find somewhere to hide from the demons, unwittingly starting to head back to the clearing.

*The chains continued to chase after her, going for her arms as well now*




*One of the smaller demons managed to land onto Clare's back and it began pulling on her hair*

Clare put her sword away and grabbed at the demon, throwing it into the chasing chains to get them to wrap around them. Thinking quickly, the wolf pulled out some holy water and sprinkled it over herself as she ran, then put the bottle back away. However, she wasn't paying full attention...

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*One of the chains threw the demon onto the ground and continued to chase Clare, one of which wrapping itself around Clare's right leg, taking advantage of her lack of attention*

*Because she was approaching where the bunny was, it had more control over the smoke. The smoke began to focus on being around her rebreather, thickening over it*

*The other demons continued to chase Clare and lob rocks at her*
