Eyes snap awake, Alexander scrambling up to sit as a buzzing ring breaks his fitful sleep. After a few moments of panicked scanning, he realizes where its coming from: His cell. Of course. With a bleary yawn, he fishes into his pocket for the damned thing, not even checking the ID before picking up, and he can't help but wince at the voice that comes through. "O-Oh... Morning, sis..."
Thoughts drift back to the previous day as he's grilled for information by a worried sibling. The bear hadn't heard him, or simply hadn't listened, no matter how many times he'd called out to him. It wasn't surprising. He'd gotten away light, compared to them. "It's alright... We managed it. It's done now, alright? Yes, I'm still in the city..."
Eyes flick haze from his vision in slow blinks, roaming around the broken structure he'd stayed the night in. He hadn't the foresight to bring a vehicle to the fight, and his foot had needed some time to rest... He'd had trouble crossing the open street to try to follow the bear, let alone what difficulty he might have had trying to climb a hill with it. "Alright, alright... I'll be out when I get the chance. Still need a bit of time."
