[The Past]

Geoff looked up at Kye for a moment, thinking about what she said to him. He grew angry. His painful breathing quickened, his lips gradually parted, baring his teeth.

[Arcizo]

"Oh uh, my name is Arcizo" He sits down on the empty couch.

[Angder]

Angder opened his eyes, he looks up at the lioness. "k... Kye?" Angder tries to move, but can't his right arm is the only thing able to function, his left was broken, and lower half of his spine was shattered. He glances down at himself. "I... is Alka... what happened? Is everyone else OK?"

[Setcho]

*was trying not to tear up*

we stopped it, the demon is dead.....alka, is um hurt....what about you

*she started shaking, placing her paws on his head*

[Angder]

"...I have been better." Angder says. "Did you bring a stretcher... I think I will need a hospital to look over me." He shuts his eyes, face solemn "Kye... I can't feel my legs."

[Cifero Windtail]

The crat girl smiled briefly and extended a paw to Arcizo. "Cassandra Windtail," she said. "Call me Cassy."






A distinct feeling of sadness came over Clare as she looked at Alka. Daisy had supposedly stabilized him, but... whatever had happened had taken a lot out of him. She checked his pulse.




Daisy, sensing Angder's injuries, quickly stabilized Alex, Geoff, and any others if there were others, then jumped off the roof, glided down to the ground, and ran over to Angder and Kye.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*Alka's pulse was slow, but stable* Alka: C....Cl...C-....Clare.....

*turned to Daisy, tears running down her face*

Finding at least slight solace in the stability of Alka's pulse, Clare sat down, holding Alka close with extreme care. "I'm here, Alka," she whispered, looking at him sadly.




Daisy nodded and knelt down beside Angder. "Sorry about this next part, Angder, but... Kye, help me get him onto some flat ground," she said, gently taking hold of his legs. "I'll keep his vitals stable."

[Arcizo]

"Hi Cassy" Arcizo said shaking her hand. "I'm sorry for waking you up."

[Angder]

"Kye" Angder states "Listen to me. I am alive. You are alive. and~ ACK" Angder yelps as he is moved.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*Alka didn't have the strength to embrace Clare in return. Instead, tears built up in his eyes, and washed away the blood as he wept* Alka: I.... I.... I k-....ki-....killed... ssss-....s-o.... m-many... p-e...peee....pe...ple....

[The Past]

Geoff didn't bother moving any more than his chest for brief breaths. He didn't want to know what other injuries he had at this point. His mind was clouded, confused, frustrated. He couldn't really think anything specific, just a mess of emotions with no clear cause.

[Surge Protectorate]

(Scratch Alex off that list, short of something to dull the pain and some time to calm down he's surprisingly fine. Although that may be odd in and of itself...)

Deep breaths, Alex... Deep breaths. It was over. He still hadn't really done anything, in the grand scheme of things. But... He'd held, hadn't he? He'd survived. The thought was supposed to give him relief. But it turned to ash in his mouth. Hollow. Weak. Useless. No plan, no preparation. He'd charged in, like some child. No wonder he'd never grasped anything. No wonder Sarah was the heir. Left alone to his thoughts, he tears it all apart in his mind... Coming to a surprisingly simple conclusion. He needed to become better.
