Zarco - *rested his head on the table next to his plate of food*

[The Past]

Geoff emerged from his apartment, still with his tree branch staff. He didn't need it too badly to navigate anymore, but he liked having it. What he didn't like was how dim and dull everything looked. His vision was clearly recovering, however, so he could deal. He took the elevator down to the lobby.

[Angder]

Angder sighs, and sits next to Zarco with his toast.

[Zarconite]

Zarco - <quietly> I thought.. it would be easy to keep my mind off it,
<quietly> turns out I was wrong..

[Angder]

Angder shakes his head. "I really don't get what the big deal is Zarc. You died, now your back. Why does it matter?" Angder shakes his heads, smiling slightly. "your alive now, you can either spend your life moping and worrying about death... or..." Angder passes Zarc some toast. "You can have toast, and enjoy yourself."

*walks down stairs, still yawning heading for the kitchen*

Zarco - have you ever seen your own death..? watched as you are helpless to the fact that you're going to die?
try re-living that over and over in your mind, its torturous..

I can still feel the pain.. of the impact..
the memory of it haunts me

[Angder]

Angder remembered the burning in his lungs as he ran through the burning building, and then a previous time, the acid on his legs, and before then, the sword through his stomach.

Angder never died, but he had come close.

He grins at Zarc. "perhaps I have"

Zarco - *looked a little puzzled*
then.. how did you get revived..?
how did you manage to deal with this??

*stands in the door way of the kitchen, with a small smile on her face*

Arcizo finishes his breakfast and heads down stairs in an attempt to socialise.

Angder is still grinning. "I have never quite died, and well... I don't want to talk about the events publicly, but... Zarc look around you."

"These people. Me, Kye, Setcho, Alka, Geoff, Gaia. They are living good lives right? in part because of you"

Zarco - y..yeah.. but who knows when something else will break.. I thought I had everything as safe as possible here..
I made it my life goal to help people, but building a death trap of an apartment complex is not helping..
