Angder limps out of his room, the hunt last night had not gone well, and he had injured his leg. Still, he could not let the others know about his injury, it would raise too many questions.

He moves over to the stairs, and trips, falling down them.

well that solves the problem of explaining the injury.

Angder crashes to the bottom of the stairs, yelping loudly, and then he bursts out swearing as he tries to climb back to his feet.
