It's like an exam at the end of the school or something like that. I think.

GCSE = General Certificate of Secondary Education. i.e. the end of compulsory education. They're exams that all students in year 11 sit in the summer, and then they can either go on for further education (i.e. A-Levels) or they can try and get a job. I'll be staying on for more education.

Same thing as here then. Only here you do that after high school.

I don't really know what it stands for either. And I'll forget tomorrow but I know it's a test after education.

Okay, so you need it to finish school.

Basically yeah. Well, not here you don't need it to finish school, you get high school education without passing it. But you can't really do anything without it.
