~The Hunt~

((Sure, I'll take a whack at starting a new RP  ))

On the planet Midortre, eighty percent of the planet's surface is covered in rain forests, similar to Earth's.
The inhabitants have adapted well to their environment. The dominant species, a horrible race of creatures known as the Venogi, reign supreme. The Venogi are not very intelligent, but they have incredible strength. They may resemble a minotaur, but with much more lizard-like features.  They run on two legs, fight with massive claws, whip with their tails, and most dagerously, inject venom into their victims with two sharp fangs. This venom can kill prey in only an hour.
Earth has discovered this planet and the Venogi. Hoping to someday place a colony here, they have sent a troop to do recon and wipe out this deadly species.

Personality: strong and independent but can be silly at times. Can be a leader when forced to but much rather follow other's orders.
Weapon of choice: Her claws
Specialty: Crafting, stealth, swimming

Tigerlily gasped for air as the stasis pod opened, breathing in the hot, humid, fresh air. She dropped to her knees and coughed. Looking around, she saw a dense jungle around her, as well as a couple of other stasis pods. Her joints were stiff from being immobile for a month. In order to travel through space, one must be put into stasis to prevent ageing during the journey. Earth's government figured space travel was wasted time, Tigerlily thought it was stupid.
She stood up and examined her pink and white fur. Still as clean as when she left. Her bright blue eyes caught every movement around her. The bird creatures in the trees, tiny worms on the ground, the warm breeze rustling the bushes and trees. They really didn't brief her on what she would find here. Only what she needed to do. Set up base, scout the immediate area, wait for instructions.
She thought there were others coming with her on this mission, but she wasn't sure. Tigerlily hoped that she wouldn't have to do this alone.

Species: Raccoon
Age: 19
Reason for being recruited: Forced / Prison Release.
Personality: Fiercely loyal, and stoic, Ray embodies the saying "To the last man or bullet". He usually remains silent, acknowledging orders with a simple nod or grunt.
Weapon Of Choice: Heavy Weapons; from machine-guns to war-hammers. If it's big, Ray'll swing it.
Specialty: Defense, intimidation.

Tigerlily stepped up to one of the pods, peering inside the little slit for light. She faintly recalled seeing a raccoon in the mission briefing. Was this him?

Ray's pod hissed, as the door fought to open. He stirred slightly, but made no sound.

(.... Dear god, this is almost as dark as the thread about Vietnam. o-o I'll definitely read along, though. Might consider making a character eventually. I'm pretty sleepy right now, so character creation time should wait until I'm fully conscious.)

Reason for being recruited: Forced to Volunteer.
Personality: Headstrong, impulsive, cares for his friends a lot, a bit of a psychopath when fighting.
Weapon Of Choice: Revolvers and axes. Its an odd combination, but Angder seems to make it work...
Specialty: Aggression, investigation, Speed.

Personality: Happy, helpful, and curious. Willing to help anyone the best he can
Weapon Of Choice: Revolvers and Chain. telekinesis and pyrokinesis.
Specialty: calming and helping people, he is able to fight though.

Tigerlily blinked at the purple raccoon. She took a step back, not knowing what to expect. "H-hello?"

*There was another drop-pod going down from the sky at high speed. As soon as it hit the ground, fully armored anthro came out with FN P90 in his hands. He looked around for other people and as soon as he sightet a raccoon he started speaking* You are here to clear the nearby area too?
*Soon after he noticed a tiger and the fact that she looked weak, even though at first she looked fine. He run up to her and injected adrenaline into her body* You alright? This will make you feel better. Don't waste it. I don't have enough of adrenaline for the whole mission, if we're even going to go back.

Tigerlily was shocked and didnt react quicky enough to the needle. "Ouch!!" She jumped backwards, ears back and claws out. "And who are you? What mission? I was only oredered to do recon!"
The adrenaline worked fast, her heart beat faster.

Did you listened on the briefing? We have to clear the nearby area out of any threads, keep it clear for sometime for the temporary mil-base for only our disposal to be set up and then wipe out whole population of Venogi.

I was flying around space, little bubble around me tk protect me from the vacuum of said space. Ever since my home planet disappeared, i had been on the hunt for a new home. Soon a planet caight my eye. Mostly rain fprest and water.curiois i flew down to investigate.i flew untill i found some pods and landed to investigate what was inside.
