Geoff felt a bit dizzy. He raised his head and inhaled and huffed, lips pressed together, trying to keep his composure.

"...o-okay..."

With shaky fingers, he gently nudged the plate of bacon back an inch toward the stove, then huffed again, marching out of the kitchen.
