After fixing up the spear, Geoff went to sleep on the pelts Zaida set out...

Geoff woke up and stretched. He quietly grabbed his spear and walked over to the edge of the temple pond. He sat down and watched the fish swimming in the glowing water.

In it, he could see one of those fish-lizards hanging out close to the edge.

Bloop...

Geoff sighed. He shouldn't have brought that poor fish-lizard along. He had no idea they would be attacked by plants of all things, and it just had to fall into the blaze Galen set to free them...
And then its final resting place was the belly of a sabertooth cat. At least someone got something out of that situation...

He wondered where Alistair went, anyway. He was around for a bit while they were camping at the base of that mountain, then he wandered off on his own. Hopefully he was doing okay. They could use his help, if they happen to meet up again.
