"Sorry." said Galen with a wince of his own.
"They'd have to come off sooner than later considering the toxin. As for how I killed the vines... there's a species I've been hunting for a while. I call them incinerators. They seem to be a tree dwelling species that hunts by dropping down on prey and roasting it alive. I killed a few and took their meat and fuel."
He pointed around them at the scorched earth.
"As you can see, the fuel does good work with well... incinerating stuff."

[Chains]

"They burn there pray?" I asked, my head tilted to the side slightly.

[Angder]

Fout groaned. "I can barely see... and I have the worst headache imaginable... I... I am sorry I am not going anywhere without help..."

[Chains]

"Wish I could help, but I have my own problems." I say indicating to my broken leg.

[HollowOfHaze]

Addressing Fout, he said "I guess I will carry you when we relocate eventually, considering you cannot walk. And yes Chains, they do burn their prey. And I was almost the aforementioned prey." He revealed his wings in a light blue haze to expose a hole burnt in one of his many flight feathers of his left wing.

[Angder]

"I... I think I can walk... I just" fout put a hand on his forehead "Oww... Sorry what was I say~? oh... yea I just can't tell where I am going as I can't see or think straight..."

[Chains]

I was actually surprised when hollow opened his wings. I never noticed he had wings. With a child like curiosity I got up and hobbled over to his wings and inspected the hole.
"Will it heal?" I ask.

[Farewell]

Zaida listened to them and shook her head. Her Conscience beginning to make her think a bit more. ((Won't be on much... Ugh at an amusement park...))

"As you should probably know, feathers are composed of keratin, which regrows like hair and claws and nails. It will be replaced eventually." Galen's bronze medallion flared for a brief moment, and in another blue blaze his wings were gone.

[Angder]

"No... no-one minds if I sleep a little more... do you? I feel a little.... tired..." Fout seems to fall asleep. it is unclear if he is genuinely tired, or if this is an after-effect of the fumes.

Galen watched as Fout dropped like a log into the depths of sleep.
"Well... I guess we are setting camp here. Who's got the tent?"

[Chains]

"Um, I think Zaida or maybe Geoff has the tent, not sure." I say looking up from my inspection of Hollows wings.

[HollowOfHaze]

Turning quickly to see the bloodied sergal, Galen shouted "Hey Zaida?! You have the tent?"

[Farewell]

She kept her head to the floor her ears leaned back. Her eyes looked at them. "They are there in the bag..." She says softly.

I hobble over to Zaida,
"You okay?" I asked concerned, reaching down I touched her shoulder to get her attention.
