Geoff saw the leaves, but wrinkled his nose at them. They really didn't seem fit for bandages. Plus, he was clumsy at weaving under normal circumstances--tenfold now--and he needed to cover these wounds quickly.
In haste, he turned and bit at the sleeve of his shirt and ripped it a bit, then continued ripping the rest off with his hand and claw. He bit and clawed and ripped it into strips. This would have been much easier with his pocket knife, but right now that was long gone. He had to find that later, as soon as his group healed a bit.
He did the same with the other sleeve. That left enough strips for his major wounds, as well as for Fout's wound if or when he needed it.
Geoff began tying the strips onto his arms, aided by his teeth. He jolted when the door was knocked.
