Stranded...

Fout begins to wake up....

[The Past]

Geoff began to wake up as well. He rolled onto his back and stretched and yawned at the same time. He somehow found this funny--or at least that's what it seemed like--and interrupted the yawn with soft laughter. He sat himself up and rubbed his eye.

((I yawned like four times writing this. ))

[Angder]

Fout jolted awake at the sound, then relaxed realizing it was Geoff. "Still night" Fout stated. He liked the night. so dark he could go anywhere, do anything, without anyone ever seeing him...

"Do you hear those sounds?" Fout listened to the creatures. "Guess... Guess the animals here are unique to this place..."

[The Past]

"Yeah... They're pretty interesting."
He smiled. "I caught this goofy fish-lizard thing in the pond. I was just messing around, didn't think I'd actually get it. That was pretty neat..."

[Angder]

"Cool..." Fout glanced out. "I left my cogs and stuff when we were attacked, I was planning to go get it now... but I think I might wait."

[The Past]

"Yeah..."
Geoff's mind was still on the pond... and Zaida.

He leaned back against the cave wall. "... God, I'm an idiot..."

[Angder]

Fout shrugged. "Not really."

[The Past]

Geoff shook his head. "That native girl probably wasn't mad at me. She was just mad at the crazy guy... I always assume it's my fault... I hate making enemies..."

[Angder]

"And? what if she was mad at you? better safe than sorry!"

[The Past]

Geoff slouched sheepishly. "Well, yeah, that's true... I still wanted to leave, aside from that. All those survivors depend on her... maybe some aren't able to make it on their own. I didn't want to leech off their supplies... I thought I should go and look out for myself..."

He brought his knees up and rested his arms on top. "I didn't think about... monster dog things and whatnot. Heheh..."

[Angder]

Fout shrugged again. "We survived." He states happily.

[The Past]

Geoff grinned at him. "Yeah... And I'm... surprised I killed one. Never killed anything like that before..."

[Angder]

"Nor have I..." Fout said. "I try to avoid killiing."

[The Past]

"Yeah... You know, f-for a bit, I was thinking this would be easier than... living on the streets. I mean, the food is free if you find it or hunt it, or whatever. But back home, there's all that food, right in your face, but if you don't have the money, you're screwed."

[Angder]

"It's not easier or harder. its different." Fout states. "I preferred to stay above the streets of course... Streets are too dangerous"
