"Yes, that will do nicely..." Grunan takes it, and clears some space on the floor, he then draws a circle, and begins drawing complex symbols round the outside. "Be careful, if you smudge the wrong thing this spell could become very painful for all involved..."

Grunan grabs a knife off of a table. "Ok... I need 3 separate peoples blood to finish the preparations... and a single candle."

Grunan grabs Toby's hand, and cuts into it, far deeper than he did into the other two, he then smears the blood in a smaller circle, and places the book in the center. "It would be best if you 3 leave the room..." Grunan started to chant, and the whole room seemed to grow darker...
