yep if you have heard intel has a new cpu this year codename skylake theres has been leaked slides already shall link them below

I'm surprised they are scrapping 1150 so soon, 1155 managed to last two generations
either way I may end up upgrading to Skylake at some point as my Sandybridge is getting a bit old and worn out

they arnt scrapping 1150 so soon because they know its a big seller

Well, by that I meant they are only making one generation of CPU for 1150
but yeah I nearly ended up getting myself an upgrade but I might wait it out now  ^_^

they know the 1150 is a big seller because thats the mainstream for them same as amd have kept 4 sockets

when i can i might be going 2011-3 for a power pc not a game one
