Cassy blinked. "Well, I assumed from Angder's comments that..." Pricking her ear, Cassy glanced upstairs. "Do you and her have... um... something going on?" she asked Zarco, looking over her shoulder.  "Maybe you should..." Cassy widened her eyes and looked at Angder. "Uh... yeah. I'll go do that," she said, running into the kitchen.




Jeff heard the crying too.

Jeff sighed and walked downstairs, then picked up Zarco, carried him up the stairs, and set him in front of Amy's door. "Good luck," he said, patting Zarco on the back and returning to Cassy's room to read.
