Ok first off when you ask, do it in person it's just nicer that way.

Wear red, don't ask some scientific study about women more likely to say yes because of the attraction or something like that

Be direct, don't get all small talky, try and build a common interest before you do it though it'll help your chances a bit

Give her little room to say no, buy to tickets and say something like, "I just bought a couple tickets to the dance, I think it'd be fun to go with you" try not to make it a question

With the rejection thing, it happens to the best of us. Just something you gotta get over

Nah, dance is tomorrow. I had a plan and everything. She said she was grounded for doing something. I confirmed that with her friends and mine. Maybe life aimed this directly at me. I don't know .

Well, that would make me some kinda manwhore wouldn't it? Most people there will have dates and I don't want to walk in and see people lined along the bleachers kissing and stuff. I don't think I'll be able to handle the loneliness. I barely made it out the other two dances.
