I've heard it was really slow and boring, like people kept saying it was a huge mistake to split it up into multiple movies

It was alright I'd say, although there wasn't a whole ton of stuff going on indeed. Splitting it into two is without doubt nothing but a decision based on profit - Pay full price for half the story! Twice! :D
It's really all just a cliffhanger piece with some character developments and story buildup for next years part 2.......

Also, I honestly predicted the ending like 20 minutes into it without having read any of the books XD
Spoiler for Prediction:
You know when she was so upset they saved her instead of Peeta and all? How she was so mad and wanted him back? I said to my brother: "Having no idea what will happen, I bet it'll end in one or another way with Katniss meeting Peeta".

I don't want to spoil it for anyone but there's a part that the entire cinema audience went dead silent. That... That was a tense moment. Like DAAAAAAAMN son. I usually can predict what will happen in movies but I didn't see that bit coming.

I thought the entire movie was really predictable, another "Twi-hard" series. 3/10

(The book is good though)

Seriously disappointing this is becoming a trend; not giving you a wholesome movie. The Maze Runner was another example

A result of illegal downloads, I suspect. They don't trust consumers anymore.

If I wasn't interested in the contextual aspect of the movie, and had read the books, I wouldn't bother seeing 1/2 of a movie.
Still debating whether to or not.

And people are complaining Interstellar is, "too long"....

Are you, are you
Coming to the tree?
They strung up a man
They say who murdered three.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging tree.

I will find you, and I...will...HUG YOU!!

I liked the movie, it did seem a bit slow, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.
