Ray reached into his coat, and withdrew a two-sided grapnel. He hooked one side to the boat, and threw the other to a building close to the captain. Ray looped a small hook to the rope, and slid down to the captain. "Sir? Are you feeling okay?"

Ray smiled, and offered a paw. "I don't want to give you orders, sir, b-but...my garden burned. I think we should shove off, before the authorities come looking." He remembered he had a large bounty on his head, but always hid in plain sight.

Ray smiled, and gripped the captain as tight as he could. He pressed a switch, and the little device lifted him and the captain up to the boat. Ray stopped just before the boat, and placed the captain on the deck, before swinging himself up.

Ray unhooked the grapnel, and lashed the otherside from the building. He quickly pulled the rope to the deck, and set it to the side.
