"There's nothing to be afraid of, it's lifeless..." Alexis picked it up for just a second- "and heavy..."
She put the plushy back down and hugged Ray with one arm and her tail as best she could.

Ray shuddered, and looked at Acon. He nodded, shakily.  Jayce removed himself from Ray's wrist, and leapt into the water. He scooped up Marma, and made his way back to the boat. "Does she not treat you with respect?"
