If the gems were put together it would mean that theyd all become immortal. But theyd all be forced to stay at the crystals side to keep it safe.
and if the ex owner is alive... if they are separated long enough their wounds that were healed from the shard would slowly return

Well then... I do believe Aakor is royally screwed.

Yeah. If not for the shard he'd be on life support. He'd need a machine to pump his blood for him and need another to breath for him.

Well... that would be very bad if he lost it outside of a city.

Yup. Unfortunately he spends a lot of time in forests and other areas that aren't exactly city life places. He likes the rural, less populated areas... He doesn't trust his darker side... Hehe... Foreshadowing!

At the moment Aakor is a good guy. Though he might lose control over his dark side and become a bad guy.
