Ray blinked. "Oh. Well...thank you for warning me." He smiled. "How long until we reach the new clothes?"

Acon looked back at Ray and smiled. "Not long." She felt tears begin to well in her eyes before she quickly looked away.

When they reached her apartment door, Acon sighed and dug around in her pocket for her keys. "I didn't wanna come back home."
