Ray sighed, and walked over to the child. He sat two glass flasks of water in front of her, and spoke. "Watch those, if either one turns purple with orange polkadots, let me know. Shake them if you want." He returned to the center, in which a four foot pedestal rose. Ray stepped up on it, and began looking around, and gesturing, as if he was planning a house.

*She walks to the machine,resetting its terminal*

The child watched the flasks closely.

*zaid drank the liquid and sadly nothing happened after zerrette left he slams the door and breaks everything screaming* "why!!!" *he fell down hiding his face in his knees*
*derrell left a room panting. red and derrell got up and followed zerrette*

Ray glanced at the child, and whispered to himself. "Works every time."

The girl sighed and leaned closer. "What's this for?"

Ray spoke up. "It's very important, you won't understand."

The girl sighed. "What makes you think that?"

Ray sighed. "Unless you know about the legend of the Tattered Spire..."

The girl furrowed her brow. "What's that?"

Ray sighed, and the chair scooted in front of him. He knelt in front of the girl, and spoke. "A long time ago, a great king ruled all that existed." Ray took a breath, and paused, waiting to see if the girl had any questions.
