Acon shook her head and wrapped her arms around herself. "I-I don't know."

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie knocked on the door, and spoke. "Ray? A? You two there? I just want to talk."

[Aconitum]

Acon went to the door and had her paw on the knob. She stopped for a moment and wiped her eyes before she opened it. Acon kept her eyes glued to her feet. "R-Ronnie..."

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie smiled, and lifted Acon's chin, so her eyes met his. "I'm sure you weren't going to hide forever, right?  I missed you."

[Aconitum]

Tears started to flow over Acon's plush cheeks. "I-I'm sorry. I... didn't..."

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie leaned to the side, and waved at Ray. "Sorry I interrupted. I should've called first. I don't blame you for anything, A. I just wanted to say I'm leaving for a while."

[Aconitum]

Acon furrowed her brow and let her ears fall. "Why are you leaving? Where are you going?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie sighed. "Somewhere in the Middle East. It was pretty vague, but Giovanni promised a huge raise."

[Aconitum]

Acon nodded. "Will... will you be coming back?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie shrugged. "Eventually. Maybe a few months, might be a year." He kissed her lightly, before patting her cheek. "I'll call you when I get there, okay?"

[Aconitum]

Acon blushed and nodded. "O-okay. Be safe."

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie chuckled. "When am I not?" He walked away, waving. "Bye A. Tell Ray I said good luck, and congrats on the kids. Or kid...whichever way." Ronnie climbed into an expensive sports car, and drove away.

Acon groaned and shut the door. She stared at it a while before turning to Ray.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked. "What's wrong?"

Acon widened her eyes and shrugged several times with a dumb smile on her face and her mouth open to speak.
