MATH COMPETITION COMING SOON: COMMISSION PRIZE FOR THE WINNER

Hi!

I am [planning] to do a mathematics competition right here on the forums in the random board. The competition is just something fun that might teach some important problem solving skills! There is a $12 prize up for grabs, it's A COMMISSION from a wonderful artist named Barish, you can see all her artwork on here, I recommend you check it out it's really terrific stuff!

There will be Six questions you could answer, three of the questions are considered "hard" questions and are worth 2 points, the other three are considered "easy" questions and are worth one point, whoever is the first to get to 3 points wins the prize! You cannot get points from questions that have already been successfully answered, if we run out of questions I'll make more and you do not lose any points for being wrong and you can attempt a question as often as you like, so don't be shy even if you think you might be wrong!

The questions aren't going to be simple questions, they're going to require thought, a piece of paper and some time! The good news is, the questions won't require any advanced mathematical knowledge beyond, probably, year 10 high school mathematics (You don't need to know calculus or anything like that). Don't let that fool you, the questions are still going to be difficult, possibly even to seasoned mathematicians, mainly because I designed the problems using unconventional means you wouldn't find in a text book. Anyone is able to join, however if you ARE very smart in mathematics, and can solve all the problems extremely quickly, you COULD post the answers right away, or you could wait for some other people to try and figure it out for the spirit of mathematics, your choice! (You shouldn't be able to find the problems on the internet, so you can use the internet if you need to look up some concepts you don't understand but REFERENCE what you looked at)

So that's the announcement, a mathematics competition coming soon, WITH A PRIZE. You could win a commission from THIS ARTIST

(Note: Image 1 and 3  above are using the same commission you could be winning, $12 commission flat colour, single character with free textured background! Image 2 is also a flat colour but has two characters, you'll have to pay extra for more characters!)
