Fursona personality making.....

I wanted to know what you based your fursona´s personality´s on..... Like for example, yourself, what you would like to be, what something you liked was... And many others!!


No real reason for why i wanted to know, its just cool

Well I have three persona's and the best way to see them is as my past, present, and future.


My past would be Kai, My Weasel fursona. Kai is a very bookish fur. He, like younger me, hides in his books and writings.


My present is Helios, my lynx fur and my main fur. Helios is very personable but still has lingering doubt about himself.


My future is Sorin, my dragon fur. Sorin's personality is actually a mix of Shikamaru and Edward Elric from Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It's who I want to be as I grow older.

My fursona here, Jesse, he's not like me at all. I wanted a character who's a jerk just because I don't have any like that, most of my other oc's are either total softies or psychopaths. I haven't done anything with him..but yeah..so there's that :T

Whew. Nearly every sona I have was developed from a different facet of my personality.
Jaiyden(cat with dragon wings)- stoic introversion
Bailey(cat with phoenix wings)- hyperemotional extroversion
Tai(Sumatran/Bengal tiger hybrid)- rage and aggression, and by extension the self-control to suppress that
Sanji(black and crimson fox, feminine physique)- overt sensuality
Riku(snow leopard)- animistic side
Matthias(cheetah)- desire for self-expression
Rei(female cat)- refinement and class
Zeke(cat)- raver to the core
Rukon(cat)- engineering interest and overt sexuality
Luka(wolf)- architectural interest and male refinement
Snowflake(snow leopard)- depression and harrassment victim
Zen(wolf)- torn between his own personalities
Kris(husky)- concern
Fen(wolf)- self hatred and regret
Kiume(lion)- psychonaut
Terrance(raccoon)- Writer

Honestly, my Fursonas personality is a Molotov cocktail of several fictional charechters:(Keep in mind that my fursona is a post apocalyptic charechter) His/her general outlook on survival is based on joel from Last of us, His/her sense of humor is inspired by the dark humor of fallout. his/her quickness to lose his temper, his feeling of powerlessness, and his hard-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside act come straight from me, though I imagine him/her to be braver and stronger willed.

Well this my first fursona, so I tried to let him resemble me in about every single aspect, so it would be easier for me to roleplay as my furry.

I have been working on a fursona that would let me be who i am inside, and i came up with DT.
I am a alpha Lion, who is very protective of the ones he cares about and just wants everyone loved and cared for while protecting them from the evils of the world.

Mine is based off of my personality. I mean, she pretty much is me, just as a turtle. So... I don't know why. I guess it just makes me feel more connected to her. *shrugs* I have some other fursonas that I might develop later, but I don't think I'll view them as versions of myself. More like friends of my fursona.

I wouldn't say I've had multiple fursonas, but my fursona has gone through two incarnations: Shinobi the fox, and Nobi Bassaris, the ringtail—my fursona's current incarnation. Both incarnations have personalities that are essentially identical to my own, but I feel like Shinobi more strongly embodied my love for the over-the-top and the gratuitous. Shinobi was more energetic. As Nobi, I feel like I still exhibit those qualities, although at the same time am more laid-back and generally silly. My expression as Nobi is more refined and directed, rather than explosive as it was with Shinobi.

Haden, well, he's like me, but not as short fused. He's a yin-yang fursona to my old one, Fang the Wolf. He was what I would call a "tribute" to servicemen. He was a Navy SEAL with a mechanical left leg from the knee down, and a blind left eye that he received from an RPGS blast's shrapnel. He has plenty of scars too. He became the designated marksman of his SEAL team. Fang was a nod to all service members as a metaphor. No matter how beaten, we don't quit. Thank you all past and present service members!
