Look for finger prints on the guns if possible. It'll be difficult to pull one off that doesn't belong to you or the person that tracked them back to you but I think it's worth a shot.

Go over their description with police on any local felons recently released from prison. A lot of them go out after their sentence to commit petty crimes to help get them back on their feet. Same happened to me a year ago. I've been robbed twice. They even took a box of plastic forks and shattered every window in my house.

I hope your new year starts looking better, it's a shame you were booted out on Christmas. Good luck dude.
