Discord inhaled deeply his abdomen puffing out quite a bit before he exhaled slowly, his pose perfect as he meditated; the air cool and crisp from the watering hole in front of him. He was dressed in just his light blue, plaid shorts; His shirt set off in the white sand. Discord's black and lime fur glistened in the sun-light from grooming it many times before he decided to take a trip down to the social gathering area to meditate and just feel one with the universe and all living things.


He opened his eyes a bit, moving his pupils about to see if there was anyone in sight. Discord thought to himself, "Good, no one is around to watch." He shifted to a feral stance, on all fours as he lapped up the cold water.


Not thinking much about his surroundings, he continued to drink to his heart's content; Not noticing the rustling in the tall grass behind him.

As jolly walked carrying a Mug in one hand he noticed a lapping sound coming from a few meters in front of him, he slowly moved forward pushing a small branch with 3 green leaves on it out of his way seeing a pup drinking from the water hole. As jolly watched his own thrust grew and grew, looking at his mug in sorrow he walked slowly as not to scare the pup, as i lean down to fill my mug with water i lose my balance and fling myself into the pond

Jumping back as the water splashed him he uttered a loud, "What the f***!" He scowled at his now soaked fur and clothing, his exhale sounded as if he were exhausted.


His ears turned back as he stared at the other creature that has fallen into the pond, baring his teeth at the stranger, then lightening up once he realized it was just a fox. Discord raised his ears curiously, pawing the water a bit before jumping in and swimming over to the stranger.

Jolly Sighed seeing the Pup start to swim over as i look in my cup and let out a small chuckle and dive underwater but having my ears still above water some because of there enormous size, As i surface i see the pup is a little closer as i start to swim closer to him
"Hey i'm sorry about that i was getting a drink and lost my balance" I said sighing and putting my ears down

Discord began to question if this was a very small wolf, or a fox. He raised a brow at him as he spoke cautiously, "That's okay, I am quite used to disturbances in such a social place of gathering as I meditate. But you're definitely new. Are you a small wolf or a fox?"


He began swimming back to the soft, white sand; as he gained stability from reaching higher ground he began to shake out his fur. Discord's height showed that he was more of an adolescent wolf rather than a pup, his shaggy mane revealing that he may have recently been in a fight with another alpha male; obviously of larger size than he.

I follow the wolf back to shore standing up i shake off the water wiping my eyes to get the water out and i crack my back "I'm a fox but not from around here i'm afraid to say" I say flicking my ears rapidly to dry them off. I begin to notice some parts of the wolf's mane there were shaggy "What happened to ya?" I ask looking concerned and rubbing my cup against my fur to wipe off the dirt then i look into the deep blue water and fall into almost a trance because of the blue beauty

He nodded, acknowledging that he was not from the area. Discord did his best to smooth out his mane by pawing it over and over, but his efforts were futile; there was no hiding what had happened.


He spoke a bit sheepishly, "I was kicked out of my pack due to advancing in age and for fear I would put the current alpha out on his own. And instead of taking my primal instincts to action I decided to venture down here and release my frustrations in a more positive way."


Discord noticed his trance within the tranquil blue he saw in the gently rippling water, "Beautiful, isn't it?"

"It is, as if only for a moment" He said looking toward the Wolf putting his finger in the water and swirling it around making ripples go through the water
 
"Thats why i like being alone" I say looking at the wolf's scars "No one will fight me or kick me out" I smile and look around
"If you want you can join me at my place, its not to far from here"

[Alistair]

He scowled slightly, "Well that's how it always is with foxes, they don't travel in packs and therefore have no worry over who will lead the pack after the maturity years."


Discord picked his shirt up, shaking the remnants of sand from the medium grey shirt as he slipped it on in one fell swoop, "But since you're offering, I cannot decline. I have been looking for shelter from the rain and whatnot."


Scratching at the scabs a bit he growled quietly, small lumps of his fur coming with the ebony black and lime green.

I smile and look at the Wolf "I'm Jolly" i say extending my paw waiting for a paw shake and looking into the wolf's eyes seeing the deep green's and into his soul seeing the goodness in his heart

Discord took hold of Jolly's paw firmly, "I'm Discord. " Although cautious at first, his demeanor calmed when he saw that Jolly was no threat.


A low grumbling game from his stomach and soon a loud belch traveled through his esophagus and exited through his mouth, he smiled sheepishly at Jolly after being quite rude.

"Is that so? sounds like you maybe a little hungry eh?" I smile and turn around looking at the ways my large ears twitching "....we need to go this way!" I start walking off into the woods towards some sounds of fire crackling

He nodded slowly before he followed shortly behind Jolly, "What made you decide to come down and around to the watering hole?"


The gritty, brown dirt began to collect between his toes and in his fur as he followed; Discord made a very quiet disgusted sound as he shook his feet before continuing to follow.

Jolly stopped and turned around to Discord "I love the view and the water, and sometimes you get some good looken Vixen's"


Jolly smiled and chuckled before turning around and walking again. "We will be there soon, were about a mile and a half out"

Discord shifted into his feral stance, "Don't you ever just run on all fours? Also, I'm not much for the vixens nor the studs. I do not have time to worry myself over such trivial things."


He bounded ahead of Jolly, his black coloring making him look almost elusive and stealth-like as he ran and jumped through the tall grass.
