I don't know. I imagine that constricting something long enough can put enough stress on te body part that it's got no strength!

*Stops hugging, noticing how high the ground is from there, and jumps down to the ground*

*Pokes in and laughs at how Gaire's fear made Chrono release her, then pokes back behind the tree ready to hug an unsuspecting walker-paster*
