How do you pronounce Puncia and are you named after the marinal genus under the same name?

I've always imagined Puncia said with an S, then again I've never actually heard it said aloud by anyone.

And it has no relation to anything. It is a word I made up by mashing together Uncia uncia and Pica pica, which are the names of the snow leopard and European magpie.

I see :3If you were famous, what do you think you'd be famous for, or what would you want to be famous for?

I would like to either be an actor famous for their roles and how they play them, not for how bad ass/sexy they look. Think Mark Ruffalo, Robin Williams, Geoffrey Rush, Willem Dafoe, Tim Curry, David Cronenberg, Doug Jones and such actors. Or in retrospect, maybe a film director?

Or an artist. Imagine being paid for expressing your creativity in a way you love and enjoy. I'm thinking painting, sculpting, drawing, such mediums.

In terms of furry art which style do you prefer, the more toon-ish or the more realistic?

Mark Ruffalo is known as The Avenger's Bruce Banner, but also for his fantastic dramas and deeper works, along with the thriller In The Cut where he plays a sexy, dominant cop, much different from Bruce Banner.

Robin Williams is a genius funnyman, known for works such as the Oscar rewarded Good Morning, Vietnam

Geoffrey Rush is not only a fierce pirate, but also plays Marquis de Sade in the movie Quills. You go ahead and do the research yourself for that one.

Tim Curry has played Pennywise the Clown, the Dr. Frank-N-Furter of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, TONS of voice work such as for Brütal Legend and Dragon Age, he's even worked for Batman.

David Cronenberg - Nightbreed, need I say more? Also, good director.

Doug Jones - http://imgur.com/gallery/FkZat is a true genius. I am fascinated by his hands, honestly. I wonder if he's a hand model or something... Anyway, still a great actor.

Realistic, usually. But that's because they are usually better done and display a higher talent. I appreciate talent and creativity in art, not what is drawn.

I don't know why, but I always seem to imagine you as a sort of pagan, or a spirituality of the sort.

So... to quell my curiosity, may I ask what is your spirituality?

The thing about faith as I see it, is that no matter what you believe is right or wrong, science will always be right. That's what science is. It's the natural truth and the never-ending discovery of it. That's why I only trust science.

That said, I will always respect a person (if their actions deserve that respect), regardless of their life philosophy.

Do you think science would ever be able to answer the purpose of existence itself? Also, scientists remark that "extrascience" does exist as such and that science cannot exactly explain everything (such as absolute consciousness, the purpose of life, dimensions' come-by, gravity and the origin of everything), it can only be used in effect to study the cause by using mathematics and statistical reliance of some given theory's formula, what do you think to this? Furthermore, why do you think anything exists?

There are countless of theories regarding consciousness and how we see the world around us, and don't even get me started on quantum theory, I can barely wrap my head around the basics and I tend to mix up even that. For all that we know, that cat in your lap is a dimensional hole that your brain is too simple to understand and perceive correctly. The human brain is so simple and so dumb, it acts as a filter so we won't collapse over the amount of information we are currently unable to take in. For all that we know. All this could be utter bull crap.

I don't have a large interest in this, I prefer to "live in the present", as it's a lot easier. Accept what you feel, what you see, what you know, and go along with it, while still being open  for other theories in case there is a breakthrough.

As to if science will ever have the answer to life the universe and everything? Maybe. Though probably not in my lifetime.

In a scenario where you were actually a flying snow leopard in the real world, do you think that the hunter population of Norway would take immediate interest in this spectacle? Would you as a self-conscious creature, try to hide whenever possible? How would you deal with it?

[Puncia]

When asked if I'd take 1 million dollars or become my fursona...

I would take the million (dollars, I presume? Even though that's not the best currency as it is falling quite some still) any day. Why? Because the money would let me start the life I want and live happily. I don't have great ambitions. I don't even have a licence to get a car. But I would invest those money smart and start from there.

Which seems a lot better than being a freak of nature that would forever be followed by media, crazy religious people and never be able to live a normal happy life. Even if I refused to be part of any sciency stuff, I would never be able to go on a date, never be able to enjoy going to see a cool new movie, never enjoy another rollercoaster... I cannot imagine a life this sad and empty.

If I was guaranteed to live a completely normal life with no fuss (Hah, pun not intended) or drama, then I MIGHT have considered it. MIGHT. Though I still think I would have taken the money. Because, well, I have my reasons.

Now imagine if a beast of a snow leopard was to just appear out of nowhere, attached to its back, a set of enormous wings, eyes of an owl to match and a mind of a normal human being. And let's add some more magic to this already clearly not possible creature - it can talk.

What would happen? Firstly, people would wonder where it came from and if it was dangerous. The creature would probably be captured with all means necessary. And do imagine choppers and lots of guns and army men.
They would carry out tests, mental and physical ones. Like, how can the body of a bird and body of a feline merge and even work? The bone structure and even type, are different. But let's say nature found a way to make it work.
They would wonder how a human brain would work inside of that feline head. How the brain was different from others' because it controlled not only a tail, four legs, claws, wings, etc. but it still functioned normally.
Meanwhile the creature is spending its time in a damn cage, the world is going nuts. Cults saying it's the end of the world, cults saying it is a god, people are scared, the government is blamed, conspiracy theories, you name it. The world would be in chaos.
And let us say that there are people fighting for this creature, that see its human side and wants it to have the same human rights. Lets even imagine that some day, this creature is freed to live normally.

And I'm just taking this from the top of my head here. I'm sure I've skipped quite some.

Never in public again, always in danger of being attacked by some lunatic. Damned and blessed by strangers all over the planet.
It's a cool thought, but if you look at it with the eyes of reality, humanity would never be prepared or ready for it as it is now.

Have you ever been in a life-or-death situation?

Never, luckily. If you don't count the time I lost control of my bike on a rather large road. I had no helmet, and could have slammed into an oncoming car. No cars at that moment though and I just lost a few drops of blood.

People like to think they know what to do in a situation like that. "Yeah, I'd shoot my dear mother in the head if she was moaning and craving my brains." Psh. I can't tell what I would do. It's impossible to imagine the stress and panic before it hits you, and then it'll be too late.
