Mason Dixon line has nothing on me. Arkansan Fur, and moderately proud of it. I generally never have problems, at least at school. Everyone is either used to it, or has to deal with it. In public, it's okay too. No one really cares here, or at least they don't comment on it.

Depends on what part. Some of the more urban areas are "progressive" or whatever. But out in the rural areas, it's pretty bad. NC here as well, of course.

Everyone in my home town is okay with it because of my constant defense. Fort Smith is a different story, but none that are reasonable people care.

Haha, thanks. I'll get a custom avvie, eventually. Until then, I'll just leave it as Torahiko because he's effin' gorgeous.

As for the whole acceptance thing, the south sucks for everyone, really, so it's all good. I just remember a lot of people are hiding similar parts of themselves and I'm glad I have the courage to be who I am and be happy being that. I recommend ya'll remember the same thing if you ever feel down about it :D

Oddly enough where I live there are some furs but since I don't get out much I don't really get to hang out with them. I have seen some suiters and they seem well received most of the time.
