From what I can remember of the 2015 furry census, about 1/3 of all furries identify as some sort of feline. Most furs seem to identify as a canid, the largest group of which is "wolves."
Anyway, I'm a cat, and haven't been able to change that in any way. It just fits and I keep coming back to it.

It's one I've really identified with. It's a rarity as am I on all levels. I've always drawn strength and inspiration from the white tiger and I've always felt a strong spiritual connection with Bengals.

Mine is extra complicated, because I'm spiritually connected to cats and foxes, but also tigers at the same time. I'm really just a hybrid of alot of things. XD
My strongest connection is the one I share with red foxes, though.
