Astral Projection/Lucid Dreaming

Has anyone ever adopted full spirit form, either in a lucid dream or astral projection? If you have, what was it like?

I have attempted astral projection... I can never seem to get away from my body and the one time I did, it was pretty scary. As for my form, I am not sure. Me being some strange hairless creature with moist skin is common, though.

I haven't done it successfully yet, though I've gotten quite close.

Yes yes  ^_^ . It's like life that you can control, better than any fantasy or video game.

I've managed to have a couple dreams that were lucid but I just remember doing mundane things like jumping high and changing the environment, but I've become kind of hit and miss with it, they don't happen very often anymore and theyre always really short.
I think I'm going to try getting back into it again and I'll let you all know what life as an elf is like haha

I have astral projected several times now
All by accident
I didn't meditate I just went to sleep
Only twice have I exited my body
Once I fly off to who knows where when I awoke and including remember what happened

All other times I have made it out of my body or room
But my for I believe is quite angelic it's like a humanoid made up of electricity(blue)
Nothing to special :3

I'm a vivid dreamer, and I've been a cyborg a few times, a vampire, a telekinetic a few times, a wolf a few times, a sea serpent, a fox, and a wizard of some kind.

Mostly though, I'm a soldier who fights killer robots and mutant sub-humans, or I explore haunted houses or death trap terrain like collapsing dams or flooding underpasses. My most common dream is what I call the "endless stairway dream", it's a big building that could be a university or a shopping mall or military barracks or apartments or even a prison. I have to explore it, and I've gotten really good at getting as far as I can. Going down or in, I've found, brings you to a sort of control room or into secret chambers.

I have a name for my dream world - "BackWorld", because that is what some furry little animal kids called it one time when I found their lair.

Because my dreams are so full of ruins and combat, I sometimes believe I can find the center of my faceless enemies - their command post - and wipe it out. After all these years, that's still a goal of mine.

:)
