LOS ANGELES/SOCAL - Workshop Anyone?

I'm completely new to this thing and was wondering if there are some people out there who would be interested in meeting up and sharing some tips on beginning my build. I'd be willing to help with whatever knowledge and capabilities I have as well. I work for a prop shop in the Los Angeles area and would be willing to have it at the facility and give a tour of what we do at the same time.
