A malamute is a well built northern dog that was bread primarily in alaska and some of canada to haul heavy freight sleads, they are strong intelligent frendly dogs and look alot like a husky, however they have a broad chest that does not cut through deep snow like a husky or wolves, they have tick fur and can comfetably be outside in -20* weather.
