I love neuroscience   It is hard to get accessible books on the subject.  I want to write one... maybe after I finish my screenplay


By my neuro subjects at uni were fascinating (it's just a pity the tutorial structure was more about doing a dry run at an honours thesis and experiment design than consolidating lecture content) 


Still, I learned a lot that complimented my private study and other biology based psychology units.  I find that I have trouble remembering which bits do what in which context without looking them up.  You have to keep on top of it or it goes fuzzy


Frinstance there is a bit that all the senses go through except smell, which is active during sleep.  This is (hypothesised as) why you have no sense of smell while asleep.  BUt You know I can't for the life of me think which bit right now.


Still, if we keep talking about brains and periods maybe the boys will be scared off?

Few things are scarier than a woof on period xP Haven't had one for several months now tho x3

And brains are still pretty mysterious for me, probably because I was in teh Speshul class during the years when biology-lessons was supposed to be more serious than "This is a heart, it's important and stuff.. Can anyone tell me why it's important?" and we don't really have biology-classes in my current school since it's not relevant to the main study-subject >-<

Well I've done my share of face painting.


That reminds me of a photo of my cubs made to look like woofs.  So freaky, the council use the image on their website and on  a booklet!!  We don't even live in that council

So, Lacrosse practice today is gonna be outside on the snow covered turf and coach says that we get to shovel it with our sticks as a warm up. Boy, I can't wait for practice today *sarcasm*
