Personally, I don't like ICT, I'm a CompSci student and judging from Information Technology Courses, ICT seems, I dunno, limited. In computer Science you work from the base components and move up from the ground up, understanding how all systems relate to each other and how each things comes to be. While in ICT you seem to work from the simplified high level concepts to the ground down, learning what makes something work AFTER you've learned what that thing is.
An example of what I'm saying is this (from what I undestand)
CompSci: We can use what we learned in this programming language, to create this module, lets learn about the module
IT: This module was created from some rules that were established in this programming language, lets learn about the language.
