Hello! I haven't participated in a forum in ages, but I thought I'd give it a try and see where it leads me.
My fursona name is Shy... for the few that may know me from conventions I used to be addressed as Jaki.. but that was when I was still in my self search for the other side of me. I was on a "furry" hiatus as it were and hope to connect with the furry community again and re-build my friendships.
2006 and 2007 I attended FurFright in CT with some friends and enjoyed the community and warm welcomes. I stopped going because a lot of the furry conventions were outside of MA and NH, so I've been a regular at anime conventions since then. (weather it be in the artist alley or just a regular attendee)
I do like anime conventions, however, in recent years as an artist trying to get a table, it has been a struggle for me because of favoritism and the lack of furry enthusiasts, and the drama... it has effected my desire to continue to attend such conventions. I miss this fandom.
So I decided to try and re-connect with my lost love for this fandom.
I enjoy reading, playing video games (mostly skyrim right now, lawlz), and drawing. I'm currently in school for animation.
My favorite color is blue.
I am hoping to make friends, gain inspiration for my art and discover new things about myself and the very community I enjoy. ^^
